Matt is the Director and Co-Founder of Advantage Capital Strategies Group, working on corporate strategy and thematic research. Matt began his career at the Ontario Ministry of Finance before entering the investment industry, where he has worked across asset classes. He co-leads Alder Capital, an investment firm financing private companies with positive social or environmental mandates. Matt is also Vice-Chair at Maytree, a foundation committed to reducing poverty and inequity in Canada and Vice-Chair of All Saints Church Homes, a non-profit housing provider in Toronto. Matt holds an Economics degree from McMaster University and a Master’s of Public Administration from the University of Victoria.
